One of the joys of living in the country in Quebec, is being able to tap your own maple trees in the spring.
My kids just love tasting the sap. But most of all, the maple syrup and taffy.
Here are some pictures of our Sunday afternoon outside tapping trees.
It takes a lot of maple sap to make a little bit of syrup, but it's worth all the efforts, since maple syrup is a golden treasure.
