Tomatoes and Feta Cheese Recipe



I don't know about you, but for me, getting my kids to eat fruits and vegetables is not always easy. Well today I am sharing my kids favourite healthy recipe: Tomatoes and Feta Cheese. I serve this as a side dish with grilled meat or fish and potatoes or rice.

You will need:

2 sliced tomatoes
Sliced Feta cheese
Sliced black olives
Fresh oregano chopped (to taste)
Olive oil
Balsamic vinegar
Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

This is pretty easy. In a plate, place slices of tomatoes, cover with slices of Feta cheese, black olives, oregano, drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar and season with pepper. 

You can make the same recipe with Bocconcini cheese (my kids don't like Bocconcini but I do) you will need to add fleur de sel or sea salt.

Try it, you will love it and hopefully your kids do to.

  1. Looks yummy! Glad that your kids like this, I'll have to try it with mine. I especially like the pairing with grilled meats, as this feels to me like a perfect summer-y dish.
