At the beginning of the week, I had the chance to be interviewed by Dr. Portia Jackson for Working Motherhood. It was a great interview, I was really nervous because I'm French and I was scared of not finding the right words or just not being able to express my thoughts or feelings.
I did not so bad, it's not perfect, and yes I was looking for my words a lot, but I'm still really happy about how it turned out.
You can listen to the interview by going to Working Motherhood and selecting podcast number 137.
Let me know what you think!
This was a wonderful interview! You came across as calm and informative, with no hint of the language problems about which you worried. I didn't realize that you got up so early; I get up at 4:45 AM sometimes but only really for exercising. You're so lucky that you were able to work out the work-from-home schedule with FedEx! I also think that you came across very professionally about the whole issue of telecommuting. Great job!
ReplyDeleteBTW, I also love red wine. Beaujolais are quite good, I also am a fan of Zinfandels having lived in California for a number of years.
ReplyDelete(Too bad that the interviewer didn't know about Québécoise!)
Thanks Anna, I was really nervous and there are so many things I realized I wanted to say after the fact, but it was still a pretty good interview. I like a lot of red wine but I just said the first thing that came to mind. I like Zinfandels as well, Chianti, merlot and a lot more ;)
