Today, I'm putting aside my French cuisine inspiration for a little Mexican twist with this easy and delicious guacamole recipe.
This guacamole is great any time. You can serve it as a dip with tortilla chips, or use it as a condiment on burgers or sandwiches.
Ingredients
5 ripe avocados
3 green onions chopped
3 tablespoons of diced red bell peppers
4 tablespoons of diced tomatoes
2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice
1 large clove of garlic chopped
2 tablespoons of fresh cilantro chopped
Tabasco to taste (I added 3 drops).
3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
Salt to taste
Directions
In a bowl, mash the avocado pulp with a fork or potato masher leaving some chunks.
Add the rest of the ingredients to the bowl and mix well.
When storing guacamole in the fridge, leave an avocado pit in the middle of your guacamole bowl or container, it will prevent the guacamole from turning brown.
This is it! How easy was that? And wait until you taste it. Don't be shy, let me know what you think in the comment section below.
Enjoy!
