Every year, since my kids were babies, we go and have fun at the local fair. The kids love it! Well everyone loves it. It's just a great and fun time for all of us. The local fair lasts for 4 days, it starts on the Thursday night with a little parade. It's like a tradition, we go for supper on a terrasse, then after supper we watch the parade. We attend the fair only on the Saturday afternoon but we stay until it's dark outside, so the kids can see all the colourful lights on all the rides. It's fun to see their reaction from year to year as they grow up and change.
We don't go to the restaurant a lot but every time we go, no mater what's on the menu, my kids always order a poutine.... Oh well, it's a special occasion after all...
If we go out with the kids, I never leave without their I pods, they either take pictures of everything around or play games. Makes waiting for supper a lot easier...

Since it's an agricultural fair, we can see a lot of animals and farming equipment.

Ok, this is what we did so far on our summer bucket list. It's a good thing I'm on vacation for the next two weeks because there's a lot left to do. Fun! Fun! Fun!

What a really cool, old-time, fair! We don't have them much near us any more, so the kids have to travel to petting zoos to see animals. We do have an annual 4th of July Carnival each year, which the kids really enjoy! Glad to see that your family is continuing a great annual tradition!

DeleteAhhh, you are chipping away at that summer bucket list! As you get closer I get anxiety, I don't want summer to end! haha :) I am glad you guys are enjoying the summer. We don't have a fair like this over the summer. They usually start popping up in the fall! So I guess there are things to look forward to when the summer wraps up. :)
